May marked a month of continued progress across Persistence DEX and the broader BTCFi landscape.
The community introduced new pool incentives, we launched quests, and added new trading pairs to the DEX deployed on Babylon’s Genesis Network.
In parallel, we curated new guides and showcased a few community-created infographics, all aimed at improving accessibility and deepening understanding of our DEX.
We also began sharing updates on our intent-based Bitcoin cross-chain swapping solution, which remains under active development. Our COO, Jeroen Develter, joined a livestream hosted by the Babylon team to outline the future of Persistence DEX and shared weekly updates throughout the month.
As we build momentum, May represented another key month in our broader vision to establish Persistence as the go-to BTCFi Liquidity Hub.

About Persistence One
Persistence One is building the BTCFi Liquidity Hub, enabling fast, near-zero-slippage swaps for BTC, BTC-variants, and LSTs on Persistence DEX.
BTCFi’s rapid growth has created multiple BTC-related assets, making fragmentation a big challenge. Persistence One will provide a single liquidity hub, simplifying value transfer across the Bitcoin ecosystem.
